The Virgin Islands Writing Project (VIWP) continues to impact writing and, I dare say, education throughout the Territory. Not only does the VIWP continue to train teachers to be Teacher Consultants (TCs), but through a SEED Grant from the National Writing Project (NWP), we have been conducting professional development for teachers at the Juanita Gardine Elementary School.  We have recently acquired a 2015-2016 SEED Grant, which will be used to prepare teacher leaders. 

Having our own website is an important step for us.  Now, our TCs and other teachers will be able to access information and learn more about our program.  We thank our Tech Liaison, Veronica Prescott, for taking the initiative and for being willing to manage the website.
